    Hello ! What about your 78rpm records ? Really looking forward to listen to these rarities !

      They’re mainly easy orchestral instrumentals and songs of the period with some polka and the occasional very elaborately arranged folk style tune, so it’s a fairly mixed bag of sounds of the later 1940s to early 1950s era, I’d guess (maybe some of the recordings are earlier, but I think that’s when the records themselves were made). Unfortunately, the only thing I can play them on at the moment is an old dansette, which has no facility to run through to a recording machine…so until I can work out how to digitise them, I won’t be able to upload any of the actual sounds here, sadly.

    These comes from the era when Czechoslovakia didn’t belong to Eastern bloc.

      Thanks for the info – assumed they were most likely early 1950s releases but wasn’t sure. Guess these are earlier recordings than I’d thought, at least pre-1948 and possibly even older, then?
